This chicken curry is a flavorful dish made with tender chicken pieces cooked in a rich and aromatic sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies; cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
- Add chicken pieces, curry powder, turmeric, and salt; mix well.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
- Pour in coconut milk and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
