- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 large tomato slices
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 2 ciabatta rolls or focaccia bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken over medium heat until golden and fully cooked (about 5-6 minutes per side).
- Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
- Cut ciabatta rolls in half and layer mozzarella, chicken, tomato slices, and basil leaves inside.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
- Press in a panini maker or grill pan until bread is crispy and cheese melts (about 3-4 minutes).
- Slice and serve immediately.

- No panini press? Use a heavy skillet to press the sandwich.
