Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, and water.
  2. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
  4. Remove chicken and shred it. Return shredded chicken to the pot.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Add melted butter and milk to the flour mixture. Stir until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the pot.
  8. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
