Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the sliced chicken breast with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce and heat through.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include vegetables like broccoli or spinach.
  • Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best texture and flavor.
