A delicious side dish made with creamy cheese and tender potatoes.

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mash the mixture until smooth.
- Stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- You can add cooked bacon or green onions for added flavor.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for variety.
