Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add butter, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
  5. Mash the mixture until smooth.
  6. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
