A quick and easy homemade version of the classic Hamburger Helper with extra cheese for a rich flavor.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add uncooked macaroni, beef broth, and milk. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until macaroni is tender.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use sharp cheddar for a stronger cheese flavor.
- Add a splash of hot sauce for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
