- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, steamed broccoli, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour the milk mixture over the rice and broccoli. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen broccoli for this recipe.
- Substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt if desired.
- Add cooked chicken or ham for extra protein.
