Ingredients

  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 1 lb ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook ziti according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Toss cooked ziti with the ricotta mixture and marinara sauce.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute cottage cheese for ricotta if needed.
