Description

Cheese-stuffed chicken rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make dish. Juicy chicken fillets are stuffed with melted cheese, rolled up, and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut each chicken fillet horizontally to create a pocket.
  3. Mix mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each chicken fillet with the cheese mixture.
  5. Roll up the chicken and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Sear chicken rolls for 2 minutes per side.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use kitchen twine if toothpicks aren’t available.
  • Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
