A simple and delicious cheese fondue recipe.
Ingredients

- 200g Gruyère cheese
- 200g Emmental cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 300ml dry white wine
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh bread, cubed
Instructions
- Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the garlic clove.
- In a pot, heat the white wine and lemon juice over medium heat.
- Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring until melted.
- Mix the cornstarch with kirsch and add to the cheese mixture.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Season with black pepper.
- Serve with cubed bread for dipping.

- Adjust the cheese ratio for taste.
- Use a good quality wine for better flavor.
- Keep the fondue pot warm while serving.
