- 1 pound Fresh fish fillets (like tilapia or snapper)
- 1/2 cup Fresh lime juice
- 1/2 Red onion
- 1 Tomato
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- 1 Jalapeño pepper
- to taste Salt
- 1 Avocado
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the fish cubes and lime juice. Ensure the fish is fully submerged in the juice.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the fish appears opaque and ‘cooked’ by the acidity of the lime juice.
- Add the chopped red onion, diced tomato, cilantro, jalapeño, and salt to the marinated fish.
- Gently mix everything together until well combined.
- Serve immediately with sliced avocado on top, or chill until ready to serve.
