Description
Tender beef brisket slow-cooked until caramelized, perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or as a main dish.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs beef brisket
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sear the brisket on all sides until browned.
- Remove brisket and set aside. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in beef broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Return brisket to the pot, cover, and transfer to the oven. Cook for 4 hours until tender.
- Shred the meat using two forks. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra caramelization, broil the shredded meat for 2-3 minutes before serving.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
