- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups tart apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, and mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the diced apples gently into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the cream cheese and apple mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until set.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
- Once chilled, cut into bars and serve.
