Description
Capirotada is a traditional Mexican bread pudding made with layers of bread, cheese, and a sweet syrup.

- 6 cups of bolillo bread, cut into slices
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1/2 cup of peanuts
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a pot, combine sugar, water, and cinnamon. Boil until sugar dissolves.
- In a baking dish, layer the bread slices.
- Pour the syrup over the bread, ensuring even coverage.
- Add raisins and peanuts between layers of bread.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Pour milk over the entire dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Customize with your favorite nuts or dried fruits.
