Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peeled and cut sweet potatoes into cubes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Pour the glaze over the sweet potatoes in a baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until caramelized.
