- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Prepare a cast-iron skillet or aluminum foil pan. Pour the brownie batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place it over the campfire grill or hot coals.
- Cook for about 20-25 minutes, checking occasionally, until the brownies are set and a toothpick comes out clean.

- For an extra touch, add nuts or marshmallows to the batter before cooking.
