Description
A flavorful beef shawarma wrap loaded with spices and served in a warm pita.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef shawarma meat, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup tahini sauce or garlic sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm the pita breads in a pan or microwave.
- To assemble, spread tahini or garlic sauce on each pita, add the cooked beef, and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
- Wrap the pita tightly and serve immediately.
