- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into strips
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak strips with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta and steak back to the pan. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your preference.
- For a thinner sauce, add a splash of pasta water.
- Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
