A creamy and flavorful Cajun shrimp pasta that’s quick and easy to make, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper (red or green)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Toss to combine and add shrimp back to the skillet. Cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
