- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side, then remove from pan.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Return shrimp to the pan, add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
- Grill asparagus on high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve shrimp over asparagus spears.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and texture.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Cook shrimp just until pink to avoid overcooking.
