  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Carrot and celery sticks, for serving
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
  3. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  4. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  5. While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Once the butter is melted, whisk in the hot sauce and cayenne pepper (if using) until combined.
  7. When the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
  8. Serve hot with carrot and celery sticks, along with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after tossing in the sauce.
