Description

A spicy twist on classic grilled cheese featuring buffalo chicken, caramelized onions, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce.
  3. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  4. Layer cheese, chicken, and onions between bread slices, buttered side out.
  5. Grill in the pan until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Notes

  • Use a good melting cheese like cheddar or mozzarella.
  • Adjust buffalo sauce for more or less heat.
  • Press the sandwich lightly while cooking for even browning.
