  • 2 lbs beef ribs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rub beef ribs with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ribs on all sides, then transfer to a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, bourbon, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Pour over ribs.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 2.5–3 hours until tender.
  6. Remove foil, baste ribs with sauce, and broil for 5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
