Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of cubed whole grain bread
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup of bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the bread, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, and cheese.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden and the eggs are set.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
