A hearty breakfast casserole that you can prepare in advance.

- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 4 cups bread, cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 pound sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
- Layer bread cubes in a greased casserole dish.
- Spread cooked sausage over the bread cubes.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
Notes
- Let the casserole cool before slicing.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute vegetables for sausage for a vegetarian option.
