Description
Crispy and juicy breaded pork chops made effortlessly in the air fryer. These pork chops are seasoned, breaded, and cooked to perfection with a golden brown finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Set up a breading station: Place the flour in one shallow dish, whisk the eggs in a second dish, and combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
- Dredge each pork chop in the flour, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured pork chop in the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Coat the pork chop in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the breaded pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
- Spray the tops of the pork chops lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the pork chops are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the pork chops.
- For added flavor, marinate the pork chops in your favorite seasoning or sauce for a few hours before breading.
