A simple recipe for making banana bread in a bread machine.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Grease the bread pan.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to the banana mixture.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the bread pan.
- Select the quick bread setting on your machine and start it.
- Once baked, remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread freezes well; wrap it tightly before freezing.
