Description

A simple recipe for making banana bread in a bread machine.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Grease the bread pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to the banana mixture.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the bread pan.
  7. Select the quick bread setting on your machine and start it.
  8. Once baked, remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
