Description
A classic BLT sandwich made with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all sandwiched between toasted bread.
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
- 2 leaves of romaine lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the lettuce leaves on one slice of bread, followed by the tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the crispy bacon on top of the tomatoes.
- Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using flavored mayonnaise or adding avocado slices.
- You can substitute the bacon with turkey bacon or a vegetarian alternative if desired.
