Description
A classic BLT sandwich made with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and mayonnaise, all layered between two slices of toasted bread.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
- 4 leaves of romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer lettuce leaves on two of the slices.
- Place 2-3 slices of tomato on top of the lettuce and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add the crispy bacon on top of the tomatoes.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, use flavored mayonnaise or add avocado slices.
- Feel free to substitute turkey bacon for a healthier option.
