- 500g boneless chicken, thinly sliced
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper, freshly crushed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)

Instructions

- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sugar. Mix well.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Dissolve cornstarch in a little water and stir into the pan to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for 2 more minutes until the sauce coats the chicken and mushrooms.
- Serve hot with rice.
