Description
A rich and indulgent chocolate cake with layers of caramel, peanuts, and chocolate, inspired by the classic Snickers bar.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 cup chocolate ganache
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually stir in boiling water. The batter will be thin.
- Divide batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Spread caramel sauce and chopped peanuts on one cake layer. Top with the second layer.
- Pour chocolate ganache over the top and let it drizzle down the sides.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- For a nut-free version, omit peanuts or substitute with seeds.
- Use high-quality caramel sauce for the best flavor.
