- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 cup frosting (your choice of flavor)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a mini cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mini cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut the cake into mini layers if desired and assemble with frosting in between each layer.
- Decorate the top and sides of the cake with frosting and your choice of decorative items.
