- 1 lb beef tenderloin, cut into small cubes
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté mushrooms in butter until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into small squares.
- Brush each beef cube with Dijon mustard.
- Place a spoonful of mushrooms on each pastry square, then top with a beef cube.
- Fold pastry over the beef and seal edges. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
