- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 2 cups tomato basil pasta sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices French bread
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in tomato basil sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in cooked tortellini.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh basil.
- For garlic bread, mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush onto bread slices and toast until golden.
- Serve tortellini with garlic bread on the side.
Notes
- Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
- Add grated Parmesan on top before serving if desired.
