- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 12 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream (optional)
- Salsa (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic until the beef is fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stirring to combine. Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- While the beef is simmering, prepare your taco shells according to package instructions.
- Once the beef is ready, spoon it into the taco shells.
- Top each taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Add sour cream and salsa if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your beef tacos!
