- 2 liters water
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add beef cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in carrots, celery, and potatoes, cook for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, and bay leaves.
- Pour in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Check seasoning, adjust if necessary, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like zucchini or green beans.
- For a richer flavor, use beef broth instead of water.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
