- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup tahini sauce or garlic sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Add the beef and mix well to coat.
- Marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm the pita breads in a dry skillet or microwave.
- To assemble the wrap, place some cooked beef in the center of each pita. Top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and drizzle with tahini sauce or garlic sauce.
- Wrap the pita around the fillings, folding in the sides to secure. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding pickles or hot sauce.
- You can also add grilled vegetables for a more filling wrap.
