  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup tahini sauce or garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, shawarma spice blend, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced beef and mix well to coat.
  2. Cover and marinate the beef in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Warm the pita breads or flatbreads on a skillet or in the oven.
  5. Assemble the sandwiches by placing the cooked beef in the center of each pita or flatbread.
  6. Top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and drizzle with tahini sauce or garlic sauce.
  7. Wrap the pita around the filling and serve immediately.
