Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced beef, olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the beef evenly.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  3. While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad by combining the salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and parsley in a large bowl.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Add the cooked beef to the salad mixture and toss gently to combine.
  6. Top the salad with crumbled feta cheese and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
