Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup tahini sauce or garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Warm the pita bread in a separate pan or microwave.
  4. To assemble, place a portion of cooked beef in the center of each pita.
  5. Top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and drizzle with tahini or garlic sauce.
  6. Wrap the pita around the filling and serve immediately.
