A hearty and comforting beef and potato casserole that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until onions are soft.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Layer the remaining potatoes on top.
- Pour beef broth over the layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef.
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
