Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef (flank steak or sirloin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade and coat well.
- Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C).
- Place beef strips on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Bake for 4 to 6 hours until dry and chewy.
- Let cool and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use a dehydrator for better results.
- Store jerky in a cool, dry place.
