Description
A simple and tasty beef jerky recipe made using a dehydrator.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef (flank steak or sirloin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade and coat thoroughly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Remove beef from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the beef strips in a single layer on the dehydrator trays.
- Set the dehydrator to 160°F (70°C) and dry for 4-6 hours.
- Check for desired dryness and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use lean cuts of beef for better results.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Store jerky in a cool, dry place.
