Description

A succulent beef fillet served with a rich garlic-Dijon cream sauce. Perfect for a special dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g beef fillet
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season the beef fillet with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the beef fillet on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the beef fillet to the pan and cook to desired doneness.
  6. Slice the beef fillet and serve with the garlic-Dijon cream sauce.

Notes

  • Let the beef fillet rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Adjust the seasoning of the sauce to your taste.
