A classic beef burger made with fresh ingredients and a homemade patty.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix until well combined. Form into 4 patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
- Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking, if using.
- Toast buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, and patty on the bun.
Notes
- For a juicier burger, do not overwork the meat.
- You can add your favorite condiments.
- Serve with fries or a side salad.
