Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
  4. Place the brisket in a roasting pan.
  5. Pour beef broth around the brisket.
  6. Cover the pan with foil.
  7. Bake for 3 hours.
  8. Remove foil, brush barbecue sauce on brisket.
  9. Bake for another 1 hour uncovered.
  10. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
