- 4 lbs beef brisket
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
- Place the brisket in a roasting pan.
- Pour beef broth around the brisket.
- Cover the pan with foil.
- Bake for 3 hours.
- Remove foil, brush barbecue sauce on brisket.
- Bake for another 1 hour uncovered.
- Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
