Description

A simple and delicious beef and broccoli dish made in a crock pot.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Place beef in the crock pot.
  2. Add broccoli florets on top of the beef.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and garlic.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. In the last 30 minutes, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the crock pot.
  7. Cook until the sauce thickens.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or noodles.
  • Adjust the soy sauce to taste.
  • Can add bell peppers for extra flavor.
