- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for about 2 hours, flipping occasionally and basting with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Once the ribs are tender and have a nice glaze, remove them from the grill.
- Let them rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spice levels to your preference.
- For a smoky flavor, you can add wood chips to the grill.
- These ribs can also be cooked in the oven at 275°F for 2.5 to 3 hours if grilling isn’t an option.
