- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup coleslaw mix
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced pickles (optional)
- Sliced onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- In the last few minutes of grilling, brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- While the chicken is resting, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Slice the grilled chicken into strips or shred it.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing the chicken on the bottom half of the bun, adding more BBQ sauce if desired, and topping with the coleslaw mix.
- Add pickles and onions if using, then place the top half of the bun on.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- Add extra toppings like cheese or jalapeños for added flavor.
- Serve with potato chips or a side salad for a complete meal.
