Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, plus more for serving
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties about 3/4 inch thick.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill.
- Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, brush additional BBQ sauce on top of each patty.
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and onion.
